Holman's Technology for Autism thank you letter from Cristal Wilson at Mark Twain Elementary School
Fidelity at School recognizes Anthony D. Trujillo, president of Holman’s USA, LLC, as one of its Heroes in Education. Since 2011 Holman’s has donated more than 40 iPads to six different public school classrooms for autistic children through its Technology for Autism program.
Cristal Wilson, an Autism Teacher at Mark Twain Elementary School was awarded a Golden Apple Award on Friday, March 8, 2013. The Golden Apple Award has been given since 1996 to 109 New Mexico teachers, recognizing that the quality of their teaching is the single most important factor in their students’ academic success. The donations were made to Autism Teachers at Pajarito, McCollum, Mark Twain and Petroglyph elementaries.

After years of speaking one word utterances, one of the children with autism in Cristal Dawn Wilson's class asked her a question for the first time ever with a complete sentence.Astounded, Wilson excitedly broadcast to visitors the significance of what had just happened in her special needs classroom at Los Ranchos Elementary in the North Valley. "That's how motivated the child was to complete a lesson on his Apple iPad" Wilson said.
Holman’s Employees Volunteer to Build Harmony House for Habitat for Humanity - Several Holman’s Employees spent a Saturday building a foundation and putting up walls for a new home in the South Valley. The home will go to a single mother and her two young children.
Holman's Collects 1,600 lbs of Food for Thanksgiving Food Drive - Holman's employees at the Albuquerque headquarters competed by department to raise the most food donations to benefit Road Runner Food Bank. The competition, which specifically went to help people during Thanksgiving, went above and beyond expectations.
Holman’s USA donates iPads to Special Needs Class at Shumway Elementary School - Anthony D. Trujillo, of Holman’s USA, donated eight iPads to Shumway Elementary School on May 23. The donation to Sarah Duarte’s special needs class in Chandler, AZ was on behalf of Holman’s Education Outreach initiative.
Holman's USA donates $6,000 to the AWA in hopes to save the program. As a result, nearly 2,000 students and less fortunate children recieved gifts this year for Christmas in the form of a wooden toy car, toy boat, or doll.
